Paleo Tuna Patties

Last night I was having the hardest time deciding what to do for dinner. I was in need of a major grocery store run and had to work with what I had so I came up with Tuna Patties. I remember as a kid my mom used to make us salmon patties and they were one of my favorite dishes so I figured I would try and make a tuna version that was also grain free!

These are topped with a new favorite sauce combo of mine thanks to a girlfriend I met on Instagram Jessica Eats Real Food- Tahini and Hot sauce! Seriously so good- don't knock it till you try it. Also try her "Best Salad Ever" it really is the best.

Ok now the moment you've been waiting for...

Paleo Tuna Patties

*Recipe should be able to make 3-4 Tuna Patties

1 egg
About 1/2 cup Almond Flour
5 oz Tuna in Olive Oil
Juice from 1/2 of Lemon
2-3 stalks of green onions chopped
Salt and Pepper
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp Frank's Original Hot Sauce
1 tsp stone ground mustard
Avocado Oil

Sauce Ingredients:

1 Tbsp Tahini spread
2 Tbsp Franks Original Hot Sauce

1. Mix all ingredients EXCEPT the Avocado oil in a bowl. Add more almond flour if the consistency is too wet still, you want to be able to form a patty and it holds together.

2. Once all ingredients are added together and you form your patties you will heat your pan on medium high heat and pour your avocado oil in.

3. Make sure the oil is nice and hot before putting the patties in. Cook on each side for about 3-4 minutes or until browned and then set on paper towel to soak up any excess oil before plating.

Sauce: Mix ingredients together and drizzle over Tuna Patties.
