Nearly Instant Coconut Oatmeal



Now that the fall weather is here I can't help but crave Oatmeal, but in my experience oatmeal is typically made with a bunch of unnecessary ingredients and refined sugars.


I decided to try my hand at making oatmeal that was dairy free and it honestly took at total of 10 minutes maybe to make! Definitely something you can make while you are getting ready for the day or even to take with you on the go.


I decided to make mine with peaches and raspberries but there are so many flavor combinations you can do and additions you can add too.


Things to spice up traditional oatmeal:

-Pumpkin! (Bet you never thought of adding this to your oatmeal) but adding some Pumpkin, maple syrup, and pecans tastes so good in it!

-Dragonfruit powder- Makes oatmeal pink and has tons of nutrients and benefits like helping detox heavy metals and toxins!

-Hemp Seeds/Chia Seeds/Flax Seeds

-Bee Pollen

-Nuts

For now here is my recipe for Nearly Instant Coconut Oatmeal....


Coconut Oatmeal (DF/GF)


1 can Thrive Market coconut milk⁣
1 cup Thrive Market gluten free rolled oats ⁣
2 tbsps Thrive Market maple syrup⁣
1 teaspoon vanilla extract ⁣
Several dashes of cinnamon ⁣
Hint of salt ⁣
Frozen Peaches and Raspberries (they melt in it and are so good)

Heat the coconut milk to a low boil then add your oats, maple syrup, vanilla, and salt. Let that simmer on medium/low heat for about 5-10 minutes until the oatmeal thickens to your liking. Remove from heat and top with frozen raspberries, peaches, hemp seeds, and a drizzle of maple syrup⁣
